Light signs: Have all mysteries been solved?
tz-readers are unsatiesfied with physicist's explanation

The mystery around the light signs on Munich's houses - it draws people's attention. Miracles, extraterrestrials or simply a phenomenon that scientists cannot explain? The telephone lines in the tz-editorship have been jammed ever since last week's report. And all readers came to the same conclusion: "The explanation of the TU-physicist Knerr is wrong!"

Dr. Richard Knerr presumed: "The windows of opposing houses reflect the sun light." He pointed out though that this was only an assumption. He would also take into consideration density changes of the air. In any case the phenomenon could be scientifically explained, with that he would be certain. TZ- readers were not satisfied with this. Andreas B. disappointed: "The explanation is too simple. I can imagine that these resemble the true shape of UFO's." His proof of the contrary: "There are also signs on houses where there is no other house around. Light reflections cannot be the cause there." Another counter-argument comes from glazier master Heinz Mietzke: "Between double pane windows is no vacuum as the physicist claims." Just dry air. That would be the reason why the outer glass could not bend. Reflections would certainly be a factor in the search for the cause. But he wouldn't have a real solution for it.
Juliane Gött formulates hard: "I am getting sick from the statement of the physicist. And that should be the case with anyone who understands something about construction physics." She would be very interested in the phenomenon, it would need closer examinations though. Christian Kleinert calls for laboratory tests in order to throw light on the matter. But: "Maybe this cannot be solved with pure science." Are the light phenomena signs of a new time? This interpretation can be found on the internet at least.

Because of the higher point of the sun in the summer the circles of light can be seen mostly on the streets or sidewalks, in hours of the morning and evening they reflect on walls of houses etc. We will also publish your fotos. Please write us an e-mail or a letter.
