Interview with Dr. Steven Greer about the UFO cover-up

All the planets, without exception, are inhabited. In my experience, UFOs are absolutely real. They cannot usually be seen by us because their normal state is on the higher etheric, not solid, physical levels. When we do see them, this is because they lower the vibrational rate of the vehicles to come within our vision, as a temporary manifestation. They are there all the time in their thousands and even millions. They help us in many ways and without them this earth would be a very painful place indeed.

They mop up a great deal of the nuclear radiation which we release into the atmosphere through nuclear experimentation. Even if a test is underground, contaminated, poisoned dust flies up into the atmosphere. The space beings have ‘implosion’ devices which neutralize this nuclear radiation. Without their assistance our rivers and streams would be undrinkable; we would, literally, be dying. There would also be large numbers of deformed babies born. All this is a result of our misuse of nuclear energy. Without their help we would be in a very sad state. (SI May 1989)

All the Hierarchies, of all planets, are in communication. The Hierarchy of this planet is in constant communication, telepathically, with the Hierarchies of other planets. It is an occult fact that all the planets are inhabited. They are not necessarily inhabited by people we would recognise in a physical body; for instance, on Mars or Venus they are in etheric matter and the U.F.O.s are in fact of etheric substance.

When we see them, or when they land, they bring down the vibrational rate of that etheric matter to a lower rate, temporarily, so that we can see them as being solid physical. If you met a Martian or a Venusian they would seem just like any of us. That would be a temporary manifestation on the physical plane. The space people have placed around this planet a great ring of Light, which holds it intact and protects it from an overflow of force from the cosmic astral plane; negative cosmic evil. The Forces of Evil on this planet gain their energy from the cosmic astral plane. We are protected from too great an overflow of this on to the planet. Our Hierarchy, too, plays a major role in this work. They work very closely together. They work through Law; economically and lawfully. There is no interference in this world by the U.F.O.s. It is all done according to law, with the strictest control as to energy and
energy distribution.

I predict that you will see, over the coming months and the next couple of years, a tremendous increase in U.F.O. activity all over the world — it is already beginning to take place — preparatory to the Reappearance of the Christ and the externalisation of the Hierarchy, which is going on at the same time. The two are working in very close rapport. The Space People release into our world tremendous cosmic energies which have a great effect in transforming humanity and in sustaining the planet as an integral being. Their work is continuous and endless, and we all owe them a tremendous debt.

That does not mean to say that they are going to land en masse. The Space People are so far advanced, scientifically, that we could not use, now, what they have to give us. It will be 75-125 years before we will be anything like ready to use the information on a technical or scientific level. But in this coming time, starting from now, you will see a complete reorientation in our attitudes towards the Space People. We will recognise where they come from. We will accept the fact that all the planets are inhabited, that all the planets have their Hierarchies and that these Hierarchies are in communication.

We will accept the fact that we are brothers and friends, brothers within one integrated system — the Solar System; that we are all at different stages of evolutionary development, some more advanced and some less. Gradually, we shall take our place, a
place which we once held, in the cosmic brotherhood.

Consciously, mankind will see itself as part of this interplanetary brotherhood. We shall work together, and when the time is right — when our science, under the stimulation of the Masters of the Hierarchy, has reached the point where we can utilise what the Space People can show us — they will come and live and work with us for longer periods, and release their great, divine science (it is a divine science) into the world. F: How can they appear and disappear again the way they do?

BC: An essential fact to bear in mind in relation to U.F.O.s is that they are etheric in nature. They are etheric physical, not dense physical. What we see is the result of their ability to lower the vibrational rate of themselves, or their vehicles, temporarily, to a level where we can see them and know them. The phenomenon of their disappearing is the shift of their vibrational rate up again.

This is something which the Masters, too, can do. Those who have control over matter can do this. It is not all that difficult, I believe, when you know how! It is just the knowing how!

F: How do we affect the other planets?

BC: The reality is that this planet, and humanity on this planet, are part of a Brotherhood which embraces the whole of the solar system, and each is closely inter-related. The energy from this planet streams into every other planet, and the energy from every other planet streams into all planets, including this one. It is a close energetic co-relationship.
We have to realise this, and that our thoughts and actions create an effect on the aura of this planet which in turn affects every other planet in this system. If we are responding in a certain way, so that the light and energy emitted from this planet is at a relatively low vibration, we are holding up the advancement of the solar system as a whole.

F: What do you think of all this space exploration, of man going to the moon?

BC: I love space exploration; I think it’s a great thing. What space exploration has done for mankind is to begin the process of realisation that we are only one tiny centre in a huge solar system which itself is a tiny centre in a great galaxy, a fantastic Entity, which we call “space”. We have made the first step into this realisation by sending our space rockets to the moon and other planets. We are beginning to realise ourselves as part of a family, and the intense interest which has grown in what are generally called “U.F.O.s” is an aspect of this too.

Mankind is beginning to realise that it is not alone in the universe, not alone in the solar system. The space people are our brothers. We are part of a family which embraces the whole of the solar system, not necessarily on the same plane of manifestation as we are. In fact, the matter aspect of the different planets varies. For instance, if you went to Venus you would see nothing. Venus is inhabited, but our highest etheric energy is their lowest. They start where we leave off.

F: Is it true that men have trodden the moon in the first moon expedition in the late 1960s? Some people say it was all a hocus-pocus from NASA. (SI October 1990)

BC: Yes, it is true.

F: Have there been expeditions to the moon after that first time in the late 1960s?

BC: Yes.

F: If it is true that man has been on the moon, did the first astronauts see any Space Brothers?

BC: No, but they saw some spaceships.

F: Are the governments of the world frightened of the fact of the U.F.O.s and keeping us in the dark about it? (The Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom, Page 217)

BC: There is no doubt that they have a great many reports from Air Force Personnel, who, I know, are forbidden to speak about their experiences. The official line is that the U.F.O.s do not present a threat to the defence of this country and that therefore the government has no reason to be concerned about them. This, of course, is tantamount to admitting: (a) that the U.F.O.s exist, and (b) that they are friendly. I would not say they were necessarily frightened of the fact of the U.F.O.s. I think they are really at a loss as to how to handle this phenomenon.

F: Do you know of a connection between the White Brotherhood, UFO people and Maitreya?(SI October 1994)

BC: Maitreya is the Head of our planetary Spiritual or Esoteric Hierarchy which is a branch of the Cosmic Great White Brotherhood. The Hierarchies of all the planets in our system are in constant contact. The “UFO people” come, in the main, from Mars and Venus with the full knowledge and co-operation of our Hierarchy.

F: What would Maitreya say about the belief that there is a ‘conspiracy theory’ — that there are bad guys out there as well as good guys going round in spaceships? (SI September 1995)

BC: There is a belief, especially in America, that there are abductions going on by ‘nasty’ space beings of people in the world. My information is that there is absolutely no truth in abductions whatsoever. No one is abducted by the Space Brothers. There is total
control in this solar system by the Hierarchies of the higher planets.

There are many people who claim that they have been abducted and have been experimented on; my information is that this is 100 per cent astral glamour. The people involved believe it is true, just as when you are in the middle of a dream you believe it is true. These claims stem from hysterical, astral fantasies, believed to be real.

F: How do you interpret the phenomenon of the crop circles? (SI July/August 1991)

BC: My information about the crop circles is that they are created by what is generally called UFO activity. The UFOs come in the main from Mars and Venus, not from outside our solar system. All the planets of this system are populated, though if you went to Mars or Venus you would see no one at all — they are all in higher etheric matter.

The UFO phenomenon is distinctly related to the reappearance of the Christ and the externalization of the work of the Hierarchy, and we owe them a great debt. Their surveillance of this planet is total and energetically of enormous benefit to the world. What the Space People are doing in the crop circles in particular is recreating to a certain degree the ‘grid’ of our earth’s magnetic field on the physical plane.

Each of these crop circles is a chakra, as it were, a vortice of magnetic energy, and they are spreading out around the world, having started in England. They were dismissed in the first place, as always, by the sceptics. I do not mind if they dismiss them as a mystery which cannot be solved but to dismiss them as “created by a freak wind” — that is just stupid, and patronizing to human intelligence. Nobody of average intelligence would believe that is even possible — you only have to inspect the circles to realize that.

But to make sure that that thought did not gain credibility, they began to put rectangular bits on to the circles — and there is no wind that works in rectangles and triangles and these complex configurations. They are all ‘ideagrams’, and if you were familiar with the ‘ideography’ of ancient Atlantis you would recognize some of them. They are meant not to be recognized as to their meaning but that they do have a meaning, and many people will untuit these. They are a reminder of the ancient connection with the Space Brothers.

F: Why do they produce circles and these geometric patterns? (SI October 1991)

BC: To prove to our stupid ‘scientists’ that the circles are not made by freak winds.

F: Is it beneficial for people to absorb the energies from the crop circles?

BC: Yes, very much so. But care should be taken not to overstimulate.

F: According to your information both crop circles and circles of light are manifested by the Space Brothers, the latter in association with Maitreya. Does this mean that mankind will finally learn the truth about its special extended family? (SI April 2002)

BC: Yes, it certainly does. There is a huge conspiracy (there are many conspiracies, believe me), but there is a huge conspiracy about the UFOs. The UFOs are known by the major governments in the world to be real, to exist, to be very advanced spacecraft. For years now the special agency dealing with UFOs in the US, which is not the government but a special department, have been developing a vehicle in a way which is closely aligned to the particular spaceships that they have seen and worked with and examined.

All the UFOs come from planets in our solar system, and the theory put about, and the conspiracy to keep that going, is that no planet in our solar system except Earth has life on it, which is totally untrue. In fact the spaceships come from planets which are infinitely more advanced than Earth. Most of the spaceships that you see are made on the planet Mars. Even if they are Venusian spaceships or from some other planets, they are often manufactured on Mars.

All the Hierarchies of all the planets are in constant communication. This is a solar system, every planet is a part of a system. Very soon some of this information will become better known, and Maitreya of course isconstantly in touch with the Hierarchy of other planets and uses them on occasions.

In Australia, for instance, there is a drawing which they call Marree Man, which is about three kilometres in length. It is carved into the land, a desert area north of Adelaide, and very wide marks on the ground draw out a very elegant figure with one hand holding a boomerang. The drawing is made by Maitreya and the actual figure is cut into the earth by the Space Brothers. (See Share International September 1998)

F: If indeed our troubled planet is being visited by inter-planetary travellers, as I earnestly believe, why haven’t they landed on the White House lawn or outside the Kremlin and publicly announced themselves? Why have they chosen to shroud themselves in a veil of mystery, leaving behind bedazzled witnesses and patterns in fields of corn or grass to attest to their existence? (SI June 1992)

BC: For the same reason that Maitreya does not appear on the White House lawn or at Buckingham Palace or at the UN Security Council: They know the Law and work within it.
There are laws, above all those governing our free will, which prevent such dramatic manifestations. It is surely obvious that if their sole need was to make known, unequivocally, their presence to us, they could do so in a myriad ways. What they do is obvious enough to the intelligent and open-minded but tangential enough not to infringe human free will on a mass scale which would be the result of your recommendations.

F: Will extra-terrestrials work more openly in the world in the future? (SI October 1995)

BC: Yes; the process is already beginning.
